Anyone know who sells the correct OE style oil drain plugs? Specifically for a small block.

I am not sure what correct OE is but awhile back I figured out my former B-van (318) had the same thread pitch used on my Shadow (2.2). The drain plug on the Shadow is still the original at almost 25 years old and it does not drip a drop at all. Took care of the drip the van always had.

Looks like 440 source is selling the auveco sourced plug. It runs about half the OEM one but looks identical.

Do you want factory correct as of 1970 or something modern that works better? You can buy new oil drain plugs from a Dodge dealer for the Dodge Ram or something like that. It is a nice heavy duty bolt with a large rubber type washer. The new ones are OE correct but not OE correct for 1968.
