Anything you polish will eventually get a milking looking finish regardless if you clear it or not.Anodizing and bright dip are the same and used on all exterior aluminum for protection.Polished or not the finish will look the same once anodized. I have had anodized trim polished. Some of the trim has been on cars that I have for 30 years or so and it still looks great. Living out west where the air is on the dry side might have something to do with it.

For the price I was quoted to refinish three out of four pieces by Kings, I'm tempted to just polish the parts myself and wait to see if they ever reproduce them.

Norm at shine on me did quarter trim on my 63 ford 7'long when the part was shipped back ups damage it. Norm had it well insured purchased another sent it to him refund all my cost. That molding was bent in the tank he fond another sent me back 2 moldings you have to look real hard to the issue with bent one very happy with norm handle the hole thing
