Not sure. Solid iron bar, similar profile to stock. Pretty sure shims would be of no help here. Thought it was a Hemi bar from Mopar, but just doesn't want to go thru the k-frame.

Vert -- I've experienced problems fitting my 1.25 front sway bar through the k-frame of my e-body. IF the k-frame has been ever so slightly bent up (reduced in passage way size), then yes, you will have problems making a 1.25" bar fit through it. In fact, some of the aftermarket "hollow" front 1.25 sway bars (I know Firm Feel's 1.25 is actually 1-5/16) actually measure their diameter closer to 1-5/16"... and then more fitting problems!
Spreading the k-frame to open up more is very difficult... needs to be torched/heated and then spread with a hydraulic spreader... that's how I had mine done after trying without a torch.
Or else you could just try a 1-1/8 dia sway bar. BUT, IF the area has been crushed, then you'll have to make a decision.

Great info Mopar Mitch. Its an Al Debevic converted Hemi K-frame. Not bent or crushed. Just too tight for the bars I have. Think I'll try the mockup if I can find some 1 and 1/8ths conduit. I can't bring myself to cut the welds after spending the bucks for powdercoating.
