Fits just fine if it has the dual shifter mounts on the tailshaft. 1970 should have it, 69 and early no.
The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

Dumb question, but is there any difference in a 1970 A833 in a B vs E body? I was thinking of converting my 70 Challenger to manual and have a 4 speed out of my old 70 Bee. Any issues? Thanks Depends on how early in 70 the car was built. Some had single mount tailhousing, most had the C99539 which will work in either a B or E body. Shifter and linkage will be E body specific.
