Real simple

From outer tie-rod to inner tie rod center lines, are dimensions of this measurement supposed to be the some from side to side?

Right now, the Satellite had 14 inces CL to Cl dimension on one side and 12 inches on the other.

I know they should match, looking for confirmation. This car is eating tires to the tune of one a month, something is very wrong up front with only maybe 1/4 toe-in being measure right now. But, this difference should do nothing but un-center the steering wheel, right?

I would center the steering wheel (halfway between lock to lock) then adj the tires straight ahead then a 1/16"-1/8" of toe in (iirc), moveing each tire "in" a skosh to get that "total". Not sure if caster/camber gets adjusted before or after toe in but here is a BTT for ya.

I am not sure if the toe in will cause as much wear as you are getting but I have always thought it should be an 1/8". What type of wear pattern are you seeing?

With it that out of whack and eating tires, I think I would go to square one by the book and redo everything. Disconnect the pitman arm and center the steering box shaft, then the column shaft coupler, then the steering wheel. That way you will know everything is right from the box back. Then center the tires with the tie rods.

^^^ agreed, I missed that (obvious), that something is way out of whack.

I'd start with removing an inch from 1 assembly and adding an inch to the other.

Chances are it turns tighter in one direction than the other. Seen this many a time.
Just center the s/wheel and then center the tie rod links. They should pretty even. Then adjust for toe in.
The s/wheel and column coupler are indexed and can only go on one way.
