Made it to ATCO Sunday to race with Ralph and his SUPERCCARSERIES.We had planned on Saturday and Sunday but the weather gods did not agree. So Sunday I loaded up at 5am,met up with Dom and off we went for the almost 3 hour drive to the track.I was able to make 5 laps. The DA was good,,under 1000 but the humidity was terrible.Best ET of the day was 9.4 and best MPH was 145. I did find the power,,,,,,or power loss from back pressure. The #7 header tube comes off the flange,,,goesover the chassis rail to a slip joint then bends back under to the collector. The back pressure separated the slip joint and beat up the ends of both tubes. My crew cheif fixed it up.bent the tubes back to together and used a self tapper to hold it in place so I was able to make 2 more passes! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bo3_KH3cRrc&index=2&list=UUTrwOIf41SToTnfSdHnx_Qg

What a beast! How much more do you think is left in the car e/t wise with that trap speed? I can't say without any certainly, but I would like to reach my legal limit of 8.50. It's been 9.3 @ 147 with 6 lbs of boost and intake air temp of 160*.And weighs in at 3700 lbs+ the parachute.

I dont think your limitation is from the full exhaust, more probable that you mufflers are what holds you back if anything exhaustrelated.Hooker aerochambers are not available in 4" from what i can remeber and as can bee seen in your pics you have adapators to make the 3½" mufflers fit 4" tubing.
If i where you i would try some 4" straight thru mufflers such as Borla XR1,Magnaflow,Dynatech splitflow,Hooker maxlfows. Those are what i can think of that are availble with a reasonable lenght that is ovalbody with a straight thru design that is not crimped down inside,Things may have changed since i left the exhaustbussines 5 years ago. The biggest aero chambers are 3.5". You need some straight through style mufflers. I have 4" Hooker max flows on mine now. I doubt they are any louder than the aero chambers honestly. I was surprised how quiet they are. They're cheap compared to the other brands too.

Thanks for the tips and you are correct, they neck down to 3.5 and come back up to 4" installed 1n 2006.A friend gave me a pair of 4 inch Magna flows to try/have.I bought almost a year ago bought the material I need to make cut outs.My plan was to have them come out after the "X" and before the muffler and exit in front of the rear tire.I knew the mufflers might hurt me when installed. My best pass was with 6 lbs of boost.I moved it up to 10 lbs and it choked. The mufflers given to me have a cut out hole right in front of them. Is there much of a difference where the cut out is? I would think as long as they are before the muffler id would be good.

First of all, turn the damned boost up! I can fart and make 6 lbs. of boost! Turn it up to at least 10 lbs. Don't worry, your motor can take it! Not sure about the driver, tho..... Secondly, I doubt that you are at the limits of your exhaust system. I ran a 3-1/2" exhaust system with the 3-1/2" Hooker AeroChambers, and my best time was a problematic pass of 9.16. I'd suggest uncorking it and see what the difference is.
