Anyone have an easy way of making a PCV valve work with the MP aluminum
Black wrinkle valve covers? Openings are really only intended to fit a breather.

It's easy. Drill them out to size (don't try to "punch" them out like some guys do) and use one of the special grommets. The grommets for the stamped covers don't work--the ones specifically designed for the aluminum covers are a little thicker. PCV on drivers side, breather on the passenger.

Oh, and make sure you have the little baffle installed that comes with the covers or the PCV will suck oil.

Looks like this:

I found a Spectre push-in oil filler cap at the local AutoZone that has a PCV built into it. I used that on my Indy covers instead of the push-in open-element breather that the car came with (had no PCV valve).

I used a hole saw from Lowes, and then moved the baffle to that spot. Be sure to use locktite on the small mounting screws. Summit sells the MP grommets that fit them.

I also spray painted the covers Hemi Orange and sanded the fins to get the paint off them to accent the covers again. They look nice that way.
