I am looking at getting the correct height intake for my 318 to use with a 4 barrel to get the correct height for a single 4 barrel shaker set up. I have a thermoquad I was going to use, so probably need a spread bore. I want to go with a dual plane as well, for street use and an alum for weight reduction. I am thinking of the weiand action plus would be the best (I see this manifold is higher in the back, would that be a problem?)? What are you guys using that have shakers? Did you have to use any spacers?

I have no "shaker" experience but a street dominator is a spreadbore single plane that works "so so" & it is a very low profile & spacers could be added. here's a BTT for ya.

Is it even legal to run a Shaker hood on a 318?
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)

Getting the height right can be tricky. We sell carb spacers if it is too low. Would think an intake like the LD340 would get it to the right height.
