Car: 1973 Satellite Sebring Plus. Figure 3500-3600 lbs
Motor: 1972 340
Compression: assume 9.5 to 1
Cam: Mopar Purple shaft, .471 lift
Trans: 904
Rear-end: 3:55 Sure Grip (8.25")
Tires: 215/60-15

Swapping out the original 318. The car will be street driven only. I have available to me (cheaply) a Turbo Action 17805ST. Would love to get it moving quickly from rest, but its a heavy car. Is this converter a good match for my combo?

It would be easier and cheaper for me to keep the Turbo Action unit. Feel free to give me your recommendations. Thanks.

Could do worse. That looks like a good unit. If you have a wanting to get that thing moving, with some tire spin etc, that will help.

I believe that is an 11" Converter. I have that one and it is a very good converter. It was advertised as a Street Hemi Converter.

Will it fit in a 904 vs. 727?

I used Edge Racing converters for all my converters. Love them. The owner gets on the phone with you and goes over your car goals and setup and helps develop the perfect custom converter just for you.
