I'm building a low deck 512. Planning to use the Trick Flow 270 heads. I have a Indy 400-3 single plan intake. It appears to have had some deep port work done to it (I don't know who or what exactly, bought it that way). Since this will be a street/strip car (70/30) I thought I should use a 4150 carb. A friend of mine has a bunch of carb parts laying around so I'm building a mongrel carb from them. I have a 950 Proform body with a QF base. I need to buy some metering blocks for it. I was thinking maybe these https://www.summitracing.com/parts/qft-34-10qft/overview/ . I'd love to hear any recommendations. Thanks, Steve

Which one did you order from Summit? I'm planning to run a 4150 on a 4500 intake (I have the intake and don't want to buy a new one, plus it has some extra porting done to it also). From the people I talked to so far I'm not sure its a good idea. Anyone else doing this and how is it working for you?
Debating whether I should break down and just buy a 4150 intake.
thanks,
Steve Got the 2" made by Dart but I flip it over just for running 4150's in the garage not driving but the BLP's I build have a dual pattern base plate. Cab, I run the Victor heavily ported by Ed Mosler and a 2" fully blended adapter.........
