I am working on a 1966 Charger 318 poly automatic. I am replacing the transmission oil cooler lines (they were all cut up and patched with rubber splices) with the engine and transmission in the vehicle.
I have new pre-bent lines to put in. I see a boxed in hole in the K-frame on the driver's side under the motor mount. Is there any chance Chrysler would route the lines through that hole to protect them? Or should I just route them on the engine side of the K-frame?
I checked the service manual and online and found no information on this.
Thanks!

Or should I just route them on the engine side of the K-frame? that's where I would think, on top of the K just to the left (inside side) of the mtr mt in the pic.

Right up tight to the oil pan. Some set-ups even have a bracket in there somewhere close to the trans for the tubes to reside in. Nice to see someone using a Poly today. There are speed parts for them now too.
I have mechanical Aptitude. I can screw up anything.

Cooler line routing. Support bracket mounts to lower starter mounting stud.
