can't you glue the correct one over the incorrect one? Aren't they the same size?
Of course if the glued decal is still nice and straight, because with time they get wrinkled with the heat

I use n-heptane. Not sure if it's available in that name off a store shelf.
Over the counter stuff that I have used and had success. Wd-40 Goo gone Liquid wrench Pb-blaster But n-heptane works better than these
