I do not know all the differences , but there is also an EARLY 68 one that is different than mid & latter 68's

Yes.....70 Charger has the word highlighted black.

The reason I ask is because Mike Ross at BEA reproduced these emblems but only sells them with the black outline. He says that 69 Chargers came with the black lettered emblems. It appears that my 69 did not have the lettering in black. Here's an all original un-restored 69 Charger 500...and an all original 5000 mile interior 69 Daytona...
