Flip your adapter 180 then put it on the other side of the pedal assembly, you have it opposite of where the stock one connects.

Flip your adapter 180 then put it on the other side of the pedal assembly, you have it opposite of where the stock one connects. Huh? The adapter is symmetrical meaning that it won't touch even if I flip it over, and also i was holding it correctly on the pedal as well.
