I'm faster then everyone that posted and I run the cast iron -1 head. These guys are so set in there ways it's funny. Wheels up to the Christmas tree yes my car has not been washed in 3 years. 😝

My response is based on not being able to buy a new replacement if there was an incident that required it......... And they're heavier by a bunch than the aluminum equivalent........ So, unless they are extremely attractively priced, I don't see the upside.
I've tried to buy them for some tractor pull guys several times over the last 3 or 4 years, and they've never had any....... And couldn't give me a time frame for when they might.

My memory ain't what it used to be but I thought the iron 440-1 heads have a reputation for cracking. I know Indy says they're 80 pounds heavier a pair than the aluminum version. I can attest to the weight! I considered using a come along to lift them into place!

That's a fast car. I don't think my back would take putting them on.
