I am getting a 92 D150 with 230,000 miles on the clock. New motor and transmission (4bt diesel and 47RH automatic), but rest of the truck is old. I am going to be redoing all of the wear items on the truck. Are there any common upgrades or aftermarket parts that would be good to swap in instead of just parts store new items. Truck will be a daily driver, occasional project car trailer puller.
On a 92 2wd do you need to do the steering box reinforcement? Not that I know of. Wife's '93 Ramcharger is at 349,000 miles without troubles. Aftermarket support for this body was slim to none when they were new. Worse now, some OEM parts are made of unobtainium. Robert

Sounds like a really cool truck. The steering box reinforcement was for the 4WD vehicles I believe. My 92 6BT 2WD has nearly 250k on it and the frame is fine. I sent you a PM.
