Which cam do you run ? I plan on using the old Mini Express.
Thank you for your reply Who are you talking to.. I dont see any reply.. I ran a old mushroom tappet years ago.. the old .750 lift.. but I had a shop do it back then.. as I didnt have the tools to do it

Thank you for your reply That's the one (316 adv/0.654", .024/.028 lash) P3690588 Mini-Express. I got a used one so I sent it to Schneider to have the lobe taper restored. They measured it at 278 @.050. After regrinding it was 272 @.050, .652 lift, .018/.018 lash so actually a bit more lift than stock and slightly less duration. If I ever get my Dart out of paint jail, I'll let you know how it runs!

I used to have one of those tools but I haven't used it in 20 years so I'm not sure which tool box it is in.
If I recall I bought that tool from a regular machine tool vendor. It is a fairly standard tool called a back spot facer or something like that. I think MSC has them in the catalog for $30 or something like that. I will continue my search with machine shop tooling sales. If you could find yours, I would be glad to buy it from you. Thanks
