P4120751AB Mopar race hemi orange paint is no longer being mixed!!!!!

Any other 62-64 race hemi orange rattle can companies out there that mix it?

I thought it was crap paint anyways.. took way
too many coats to get it to cover

Autobody paint shops can mix the Hemi Orange paint via formula from paint 'chip' code and put it into rattle cans or quarts or gallons for gun spray. Even here in California. This doesn't seem to be a Big Deal?

Mopar hasn't had decent engine paint in a long time, Good riddance
Check Summit and Jegs sites, many choice on Hemi engine paint out there, maybe one you like for race hemi Tangerine

I bet Frank Baldason has the correct paint. How many people know that wedge engine orange is different than Hemi orange? And there are different shades of Hemi orange.

POR 15 Hemi Orange is the best.

The last two engines I've done I had the local paint supply shop mix it for me and just sprayed it on with a trim gun.

Pretty much Case Tractor orange with a little flake in it, but I do like the color

Rust-o-leum Federal safety Orange.

Didn't know they made it in colors.

That's the stuff Pittsburgh, needs to be thinned down to run through a gun, covers in one coat, I get 4-5 engines out of 1 can and shelf life is years after you open

I always thought the race hemi orange was too close to chevy orange. Last 3 engines got dupli color ceramic chrysler red. Its orange with more red in it. IMO its a very nice color with better contrast to black covers and other accessories.

I believe Mopar used the 1963/64 max Wedge Orange as the 1965 and 1968 Race hemi orange
the 1966 to 1971 Street Hemi orange has the flake in it, not the Race Hemi paint
