way back (dont remember all the details) but I had a drum LCA that had holes for 1/2" bolts & for my disc app I drilled out the holes to fit the 9/16 bolts (the iron was soft & the bit went thru em like butter) cuz the two were the same exc for the bolt hole ID & there was plenty of meat in the boss(s) so integrity was not compromised. this might have been on an early A app. If any of this helps you.

I'm in the process of doing the same thing but I'm using the bolts from the donor kit. But not exactly sure what your asking. Mine for the 69 Dart came from a 73 Duster. Perhaps a picture to see what you're doing? Bolts that attach the spindle to lower ball joint are much too large a diameter to fit the stock lower ball joint. These bolts came with the kit/parts I purchased, I did not receive a new lower ball joint. So my assumption is the lower ball joint that works with this new spindle must be an upgrade or different than stock.

Neither an upgrade or non-stock. You just have the wrong stock lower ball joint. You have the small ones, you need the big ones. Pic in the link http://www.bigblockdart.com/techpages/linkage.shtml

Its ok, were just waiting for the "why wont my car stop?" questions... bwwhahahaha!!! I had this revelation last night.. I have brake woes myself. I bought a budget-build rear disc conversion for my '73 Cuda and what I got was a budget-build rear disc conversion. I am working through this thing with poor instructions and cheap parts, and half-answer help from the vendor telling myself, "it's gonna fit just fine". Then it occurred to me that it may not stop. I'm looking for a new direction or even going with drums.

^ more details please, the guys here can advise/fix anything. The car didn't have rear brakes - I mean there were no brakes on it. So I ordered this kit and I find a disclaimer at the end of the instruction stating that if I don't consistently use the park brake, the calipers will not adjust. It seems these calipers are modeled after some 70's GM style. On top of that, the calipers wouldn't adjust out enough to allow the rotors to move so basically the brakes are locked up upon installation. I have messed with this longer than is reasonable. I am not new these type projects. I don't have confidence in the product so I'm sending them back if I can. If I could find a good set of 10.5 or 11" 8 3/4 drums I may just go with that unless someone has another suggestion.

You have to screw them in, not use a C clamp A video showing how, kinda long. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opjdu8DdVeA

You are welcome, the aftermarket, for the most part and IMO, sux when it comes to quality instructions.

I have a 65 Cuda I converted to discs up front using stock parts. I am running stock 15x7" cop car rims. Though to be honest I could pull the rims in more (increase backspacing) and have room for more tire.
The stock stuff increases the track about 3/4", I have no idea how much the Right Stuff kit might change the track.
