Should I add the later model part throttle kickdown assembly onto the valve body when I get it rebuilt?

Any other minor mods that I should do?

Thanks

Here are a few things to consider, especially if you have some oats under the hood:

-Set of Alto reds and Kolene steels.
-Lube modded pump stator,
-Solid front band.
-Bolt in sprag- Ultimate is nice here.
-Updated Belleville spring in the fwd. clutch drum.
- DO NOT INSTALL THE 5.0 or 4.2 lever if you are running bias tires, stick with a 2.8 or 3.2.
-Get a Transgo shift kit and follow the instructions for the level of performance desired. PT kickdown module is nice. You may consider buying a done V/B from Cope or Allison if you don't feel like doing the mods yourself.
-MP deep pan or 518 pan with molded reusable gasket.

Some of this stuff may be overkill, as I know nothing of the engine build, so take that for what it's worth.

Its a stock motor. .030 over., balanced, Mr Sixpack cam, 9.5 compression, stock exh, 4:10's. It will be a resto-trailer queen 90% of the time. All #'s matching.

But I would like to see a few high 12's if possible.

How much extra trans fluid does the deep MP pan hold?

At least 2 , maybe 3 ? You need to add a spacer though to make use of it .
