Anyboday maybe have some experience and or ideas on which intake would perform better, edelbrock dual quad or stage V dual quad, both with port efi?
Would be for a streetcar with 528 KB Hemi, .610" roller cam, Stage V cnc heads with roller rocker setup, 10.5 cr. etc. backed up by 6-speed T56. Most used rpm range would be around 2-3k.
ANy input or experiences here? Thanks guys.

Port EFI? Then why use a dual plane intake? I'd think you would want single plane all the way. It seems like a pain to put bungs into a dual plane intake. The Edelbrock is a single plane intake, I'm pretty sure the the Stage IV one is too. The Edelbrock has flat pad cast in over the intake ports to install injectors. I believe that you can even order it new already machined for the injectors.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

Finished up this one awhile back using the Eddy. The stock air cleaner base fit's the TB spacing perfectly. The Eddy rails are made for the manifold and fit correctly.

Looks really nice. What ECU did you use with those Holley throttle bodies? Is the linkage 1:1 for the throttle bodies? Customer wanted a Dominator for dual O2's...kinda overkill. Yep, went with 1:1 to start. Tip in is a little sudden, but not as bad as I thought it would be. A progressive might be in the works once he starts driving it a little more.

Where did you get linkage for them? I have a tunnel ram I am going to be using two of those TBs on soon.

So there must be a setting in the Holley ECU for dual throttle body setups? I haven't looked that far into the instructions yet. I wonder if the ECU cares if the linkage is 1:1 or progressive or maybe it just figures it out by looking at the TPS. Yes, if your using two Terminator throttle bodies (injectors in the TB), but if multi port, doesn't matter. You just pick which TPS and IAC you want to use and just leave the other pair unplugged. Linkage doesn't matter, as your just opening the "air leak" faster or slower. Your target A/F will be met either way.

Tim Banning at FHO may offer a Stage V intake specific air cleaner setup to work with OEM hoods. There's info on his website about this. Yes he has

The 'air gap' part of the edelbrock was something pointing me into their direction. Might be cooler inlet air and the reason to hide some more wiring / lines etc. but was just wondering if anybody had more input performance wise in the lower rpm range.
Thanks for the input!
