I dont want a $40 one i found,
so i was hoping there is a cheaper alternative

it doesnt need to have dates or markings

i just want to have it in place on my car

any ideas on where to get?

or a part number that maybe an auto parts store could order one for me?

thanks

There are a couple of sellers on E-bay that have that exact one. Not very cheap, around $30 bucks I think. They do come in a number of different styles. Do a search on E-bay for: Radio Suppressor.

Check out Summit.. $6.97..
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/smp-r...CFQx_fgoduMgGEg

Trim off tab to a narrow, short contact, solder a short wire lead with terminal and use heat shrink tubing over the solder joint.. May look a little different but works fine..

Just my $0.02... wink

Are you having radio/audio interference or ignition issues or just wanting to look somewhat original?

If your issue is radio interference (RF) then you can try what was suggest to A12 owners back in the day when the fiberglass hoods didn't offer sufficient RF shielding.......this is no lie, this was released I think by Chrysler Canada back in the day. My '69 A12's antenna and a few other A12's antennas were moved to the rear quarter panel/fender and Dutchman panel back in the day for the RF issue and complaints. That's the reason the fiberglass hood T/A and AAR antennas were placed back there the next model year. They could have just skipped the expense and lined the under side of the hood with aluminum ("tin") foil and been done with it laugh2 laugh2

I only have one laying around , but it's in the box with my NOS Dart radio ,
so I can't sell it separate since it is part of the installation kit.

Mike, those are the condenser, mounts inside the ignition distributor.

The Noise suppressor mounts next to the ignition coil . 2 very different parts / functions

thanks all for your input

me and some other local mopar guys were looking to buy, between the group of us we need like 10 and was hoping to find a cheap aftermarket lookalike, heck, it could even be empty and not functional, something we could get a bunch of for under $20 each

Standard motor products make several versions. Closest I found is this, if you don't care about appearances or there is one where you change the coil side terminal, but its even expensive. Ebay has some for $30+
