D.

Can't help you with the stud location, but when it comes time for blackout, you might want this

There are 5 studs, I have some so-so pictures, but have not been able to figure out how to post them. The rearward stud is located at the kickup at the rear of the door and are evenly spaced along the door, with no stud at the front edge of the door. I don't have the stud measurements, but they are positioned so the top of the moulding runs along the top edge of the rocker. The front and the rear of the moulding are attached to the quarter panel and front fender with a screw. If you want the pictures, send me a PM with your e-mail and I will e-mail them to you.

Attached are pics from sixpackbird (Mike) and here are some dimensions from an original car Alan Gallant kindly measured for me:

Holding a measuring tape along the rocker right where the trim goes. I hooked the tape in the gap between the rocker and heel of the fender....moving towards the rear of the car, the first pin is at 9”.
There are five pins per side and each are spaced 9 3/4’’ apart .
Studs are 11/16” or 3/4” with the tape hooked on,below the door opening

That helps me a lot. This might be a rookie question, I see the screw and clip attaching kit for sale but what do I use for the studs or Where do I find them ? I assume I need a special stud gun to attach them.
