70AARcuda master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 9,826 las vegas	there is a 42rh and 42re model 42rh was used to about 1995 the shifting is controlled hydraulically... 42re use after 1995 and the shifting is controlled electronically. just rebuild a 42rh a few weeks ago..basically a 904 with an overdrive. I would not go back to a 904...This thing is great. Michigan	The main reason I ask is that I came across a few brand new deep pans(4.5" deep) I grabbed them up cause they will work for a 904 with the right extension. Then I got to thinking about the A500 and if it was being put to use in any performance applications. I assume the A500 has a small block bell bolt pattern? 5021972-IMG_3080.jpg (74 downloads)
