Looking at new strange master cylinders. Have aerospace race brakes at all four corners. What diameter would be best? 1.032 or 1.125 for my set up. Believe it would be better with the 1.125.

I have aerospace on the front, and strange race on the rear, strange told me 1 1/8 bore. I went with that and have perfect pedal and brakes. Stock 69, 340 swinger everything else. Only been 144+ with our 59 degree n/a deal, but stops it effortless and weighs 3,090.

How is the feel now and how much pedal travel
do you have now(assuming you have been running
all the brakes on the currant master)... most
guys go too big on the master and that gives you
a HARD pedal with very little travel... on my
Rampage I am thinking about putting a samller
master on.. its ALMOST perfect but I think I can
get it better.. if I really stand on it(brakes)
the pedal is just a touch too hard vs the travel
wave

Wilwood told me to go 7/8 master for manual brakes and 1 1/16 for power. My brake pedal has a 7 to 1 ratio if it was 6 to 1 I could use 1 1/16. But the 7 to 1 with 7/8 master would be better. This is with 4 wheel 4 piston disc.

This should be 15/16 not 7/8

Haven't run the car with rear disc, new set up. I have a pep boys master off a 93 truck and think I have to much pedal travel with my drums and aerospace front disc.

Question for ya... do you foot brake.. if so the drums HOLD
better than disc when sitting still.. disc are better at
stopping the car but dont hold as well.. just something to
think about.. when I built my Rampage I put big drums on
it just for better holding being that I wasnt allowed to
run a trans brake(when I was building this thing for DW
the rules stated no trans brake in the class I was building
for)
EDIT
what size bore is that 93 truck master
wave

No I have transbrake, and don't know what size it is. Just measured it and it's .975.

Having just switched from rear 10in rear drums to the rear disk, ran it only one time and being a foot brake guy, seems exactly the same holding wise. The thing I do notice is not trying to plow the farmers field at the end of the track every pass. Effortless now, only thing I changed is installed the rear strange disks and strange master. Only thing I would do diff, is put them on 10 yrs ago.
