Do you run an air pan on your carb? I have the same scoop, my carb sits level with the sheet metal and I've always wondered if that's enough scoop. Mine's not sealed to the hood, intake porter told me not to

Yes I have the carb sealed with a pan, I have pics of it on my old computer. Have you ever tried it without? My guy convinced me I didn't need it, he was a head and intake developer for a big Nascar team but all his personal stuff is drag racing related

My car slowed in back-to-back tests when removed and something most overlook is the velocity of air at speed and it's effect(s) on the bowl vents and the reason to tie em together to equalize the pressures...........
