Has anyone here mated a NV4500 behind a 440 in a pickup? Just curious.

i am thinking you could do it---use a gas nv4500---you might have to make a flat adapter plate for between the bellhousing and the tranny-----i put an 833 behind a v10 motor and used the cummins getrag bellhousing and a 3/4 inch thick aluminum plate as the adapter---measure twice.....

This was a 94 Cummins trans and I have a scattershield or will mod a BB truck bell. I need to figure out what I can use for a clutch fork.

i think the cummins input shaft is longer than the gas one---the good news is it is easy to swap the inputs out---and again that will depend on your measurements...
