I have a 69 Super Bee. Have the MP 3" inboard kit and 454, 455 Super stock springs.

I can not find my shackles so I need to order another set. There seems to be so many choices on the MP site.

Which ones do I need? I have a bushing that mounts to the rear hole in the frame. The OD of the bushing is 1"

When I put SS springs on my 63 years ago I decided I wanted to raise the rear about 1/2" to 1" so I bought these Mr Gasket shackles which was this kit with the 1/2" bolts. I went with this kit because I wanted to raise my car a tad and this kit had extra holes to raise the rear a bit. And this kit was a good choice as they are nice thick metal and they are very strong. Once I decided which holes to use that raise the rear a little less then an inch I cut the extra off and rounded the corners a little to make them look like stock shackles. I also painted them black. One thing I hate and did not want was the extra shackle hanging down in the back as I hate seeing that on a car. They worked great and are stronger then the stock type were. Ron

Here is a pic of the shackle after I trimmed it and painted them They have actually been on the car for over a year when I took this pic. Ron

And this is how it sits with the Mr Gasket shackles. What I really liked about them is they gave me the option to raise or lower the car a little and they a strong solid shackle. And easy to trim the extra off as I did with my grinding wheel on my air drill tool (wizzer air tool that runs to 22,000 rpm). Ron

sorry, i should have added why.

if you are going to run your exhaust in the stock location it will be a tight, tight fit with a nut and bolt fastener. the 'rods' on these are pressed in and will not interfere or bang against the pipe.
i have the same setup but on a 69 RR.

What shackle kit would have come with the 3" relocation kit?

I have a very special fuel tank from an AMC. It resembles the B body in every way except its narrower so I can run tails.

I will order the B body racing shackle, thanks.

Mikemee1331 the shackle kit you posted looks to be a really nice shackle kit. The only reason I did not use them and I went with the Mr Gasket shackle kit was I wanted to raise the back of my car about 3/4 of and inch, Actually the Mr Gasket kit was the only one I found that has extra holes to raise or lower the car a little and that was a very strong shackle also. I wish they made the ones like you posted Mike in a few different lenths because they look just like the factory ones as far as I can tell. Ron

The reason I bought the Prothane kit is that it has steel bushings that the bolts go through instead of just the rubber. The bushings free the shackle up to move easier. If I were only concerned about factory looks I would go a different route.
