I am looking at this car and would love more info from this fender tag. What I have gathered is its 383 with 4 speed and its T5 in color. I would like to know which wheels came on it, what the rear gear is supposed to be, is it a 18 or 23 spline trans, did they ever come with a grill painted black, is it supposed to have the Ramcharger dual scoops, is it supposed to have the side scoops and anything this may tell. Is it a fairly common car ? Is it rare ? I appreciate any and all help.

If you wanna text me, I'm at 434-665-9541.

Thanks so much.

Yes N96 Ramcharger hood, no way to tell the wheels, 23 spline trans with the 383. The rear axle is 3.55 sure grip with 10" brakes so it will be front disc brakes. No M46 on there for the side scoops.

2 door hardtop tan interior.

Is it rare? Not really, is it cool? Heck yes!!!!

Disc brakes were not standard with 3:55s.
M46 not coded on 69 Lynch Raod tag.

So we do not know about those two items simply from the tag.

Does the tag ID that the rear end is a 3.55 with 10" drums? If so the only way to get 10'drums on the rear of a Superbee is with disk brakes.

If it just says 3.55 them you are correct.

Here's a BS from a WS car we used for documenting radiators with axle packages. It shows A36 with B31.

Decoding the 591 code tells me 3.55's with 10" rear brakes and the only wat to get those are front discs. I realize the standard super bee brakes were 11" drums all around.

1969 b-body A36 axle assembly part numbers are:

xxxx591 = 3.55:1 sure-grip (8-3/4") with 10" rear drums (A36 w/power disc brakes)
&
xxxx594 = 3.55:1 sure-grip (8-3/4") with 11" rear drums (A36 w/manual or power drum brakes)

the only way to get 10" rear drums on a performance b-body in 1969 is with power disc brakes

Does anyone have a 1969 LR tag with the 591 or 589 axle code? I just went through my library and did not find any.

BTW, I think this is a 594 code if you look closely.
