1966 Chrysler 300 with a 383.
Just restored the ac compressor with new rubber seals and gaskets. Filled it up to day with the help of my friend and ac expert(not expert on old car ac´s) It is leak free and seems to be fine.
But it´s not blow any cold air, the inlet is pipe is cold and the outlet pipe is hot. He thought it´s a valve problem?
What could it be??
Thanks.

Is it blowing air from the dash registers when in the A/C mode?

Thanks. As in water valve or expansion valve? Gauge pressures will tell you if it's an expansion valve problem. Tim

Okey, I drove the car to work again today and I had the windows down because it was hot outside. And I thought I will try the AC again, and now I had a thermometer with me in the car. I put the sensor in the outlet and had 87F, then I put the windows up and put on the AC, after 5 minutes it was blowing 57F.
We can only use R134 here in Sweden so I think it´s pretty good for what it is.
So with new oil in the system and fully charged the valves are unstucked :-)
The system has been out of use for 10-15 years so finally it works.
Thanks for all your help guys :-)
