I'm thinking of maybe going to a tubular k member, coil over front with a rack and pinion. Will I get enough travel out of it for weight transfer? I'm running a torsion bar front with Santoff's front shocks with them 1/2 turn from full tight on rebound to keep the front from going 3 feet in the air. Running Calvert springs, cal-tracs, and Menscar rear shocks. So far it's only 60'ing 1.27-29. Car weighs 3520 with me in it, planning on trying to take 300lbs out this winter. If I need to provide more info let me know.

I don't have a problem with mine. I run a afco 5" stroke front coil over.

That will be a really good start to dropping the weight. You might want a stiffer coil spring and/or lower travel shock to keep the front end down after pulling that much weight out.

Depending on what K you go with make sure a factory length shock will work. A 5" stroke didn't work for me, from ride hieght I only had about 2.5" to go

Clint, any way you can go chrome moly and struts? That would be the ultimate, if it fits your plan for the car.

Greg, I was thinking of a Bob's Profab front end. It would be molly, a rack, and stock length shocks with coil springs. I'm not sure if struts would work in my class. Supposed to be "stock" type suspension.

Thank you Monte, that's what I was thinking but wanted some confirmation from some one who knows.
