I need to make a cam selection for a 528 Hemi, who would be the best person to talk to for that? And how could I contact them?

Mopar Rich on here, part of what you are looking for is in his book too. I called Chase Knight at Crane Cams but someone said he retired but Crane spec'd out a cam very similar to whats in Rich's book. Also consider Bullet cams. One other thing to consider is what rockers you are using, My oem wide pads were so bad on the ratio that I was losing about .100 on valve lift with a .628 cam. Good luck, Tim

What is your combo if you don't mind me asking? What are you putting it in?

It is a 71 RR with 3:54 gears and G-60/15 tires. Stock repo intake with 650 thunder series carbs and TTI headers. The trans is a Passon 4 speed OD. Stage V heads with some sort of port work, I just don't know who did them. Aluminum block. Street driven car.

That sounds bad-a--! I'm envious of your aluminum stuff. Just finished a 528 hemi in my car but went all iron, stock appearing route and its friggin heavy!

With alum block, heads, intake it should weigh around what a 360 weighs. Also alum bell housing and drive shaft. BUT, don't envious, I bought this engine from David Everhart, and after just 2000 miles I am having to put new liners in it and rings and bearings, The dist drive was messed up and had to be fixed. It will be thousands of dollars to fix. The cam is a chive grind and I'm thinking about something better.
