I'm in need of a new turn signal lever with auto speed control for my '72 Fury (non-tilt column). The original lever was damaged before I got the car, something broke internally on the end by the speed control switch and it's very loose and sloppy and the resume return spring is also distorted. (Just to clarify, it's the lever assembly that's at fault, not the turn signal switch!) According to the '72 parts book, the lever assy. is part# 3488538 and was only used in 1972 and 1973, and fit all C-bodies and Imperial without tilt. It did not apply to any other body platform according to the manual. The last photo shows the wire harness associated with the speed control portion of the lever. I already did the usual ebay and google searches and came up with nothing (so far). I contacted the guys at "MoparCity" in Oregon, IL and they didn't have anything in their yard that matched. If anyone has a source or can help out, it would be much appreciated.

My Grandfather had a '72 Fury Grand Coupe, same thing happened to it. They left it at our house circa 1975 while they were on vacation with my parents, I went to the junkyard and found a match for it and fixed while they were gone.

Find one on eBay that looks like it and has the tab for a screw to pass through into the switch and buy it. With the exception of tilt columns they're pretty much all the same, same attachment, same wiring connector. Mebbe E bodies are different, don't know, never stumbled across one. If it is for an E body they'll probably mention it and it'll be pricy. 2ยข

Looks pretty similar to the one on my 72 D200. Try looking for a truck application.
