Wanting to put a wide band on the Duster when I drop the motor in. Will an LM-2 give me more useful information than an LM-1, or will it just confuse me?

Thanks! wave

I've never used a LM1 but have a 2, all mine currently does is read rpm and afr. That's all it'll do as it comes in the box. You can buy it with two o2 sensors. A tps and map sensor would be handy IMO.

I have a LM-2 and will never buy one again. It's never displayed rpm correctly and I have tried everything the tech support suggested. Should have sent it back asap. I'd look at daytona sensors.

I had an LM2 and the RPM portion looked like a pain to hook up and I never did. It worked well most of the time as just an 02 monitor. When I started down the EFI road I got rid of it and bought an LC2 which is just a just a monitor. It came with a gauge and the ability to wire it into my EFI. It has worked fine so far, I will probably add another one soon.

I just looked at this one. Is there any advantage to a 2 channel when tuning a carb motor?

IIRC the rpm functionis no more difficult to hook up than a tach. I like mine, when tuning I record, make changes and record again after each change this way I have a graph of each set up and can see the changes. Also I put a note on each recording with the carb set up at the time so l know exactly what I had done. After your carb is tuned you can install a gauge if you want.

I use a laptop at the track when tuning to view the chart. LogWorks3 comes with the unit.

We can make anything complicated.
I have lm2 use rpm (easy to install)just splice into your tach wire and plug into MSD box.
I have a single channel unit, I have bungs in both sides so I can check both banks of engine.

I like it! I added a SSI4 so I can do driveshaft rpm, water temp.

What all comes with it now?
When I got mine it had a plastic case 5 different cables, incl. obd2 plug in. Some of the cables I forgot I had till I went to use them.

I ordered the base kit. Looks like an O2 sensor and cable, and a power plug. I also got the card for recording and an extra bung for the other header. I'm sure I'll have to get more stuff as I figure out what all it does.
