I have the small outboard air grabber box to hood seal dimensions and I have the strips of material cut for the large, center section air grabber box to hood seal. But I need to know the outer perimeter length of the large seal.

From the factory it's just a long strip that's butt spliced (on a 45 dregee angle) to form a large circular shape. I used to know the dimension. From memory I thought it was 54" I know it's not terribly critical. +/- .25-.5" is probably fine.

Anyone have box handy the can use a seamstress tape or piece of string (something very flexible and accurate) to measure the perimiter of a seal on a box. Would obviously have to be a box thats not mounted.

Not exactly sure what you are looking for, but I can make some measurements if you want. Are you looking for the outside dia of the airgrabber box where it mounts to the underside of the hood? The one with all the studs? Let me know. I'm in the same boat...what are you using as a gasket? I can measure at the box or at the underside of the hood...let me know.

Need this one. I have the correct, low density epdm-neoprene foam cut into 1/2" x 1/2" x 60" strips. For the outer smaller openings I cut them to shape from 1/4" thick material.

Again a nice guy, Dave Chapell, scraped one of these off and sent it to me to duplicate. So I'm all set with these.

I have the 71-72 Dodge door to hood gasket. It's the same as the 70 Road Runner. Also have the large square 70 RR box to hood gasket. Not sure if that too is the same for 71-72 Dodge. You know?

I don't know for sure, but I have seen them off a hood and they looked the same...

The under hood air grabber parts for the 70’ Plymouth b-body/71-72’ Dodge b-body are interchangeable the 71-72’ Plymouths. The air box uses the same gasket to seal to the hood or bubble.

Just saw this post, and I got to thinking - is Fram the only manufacturer of the Air Grabber air cleaner?

Does anyone know where is the best price for an air grabber air cleaner? Summit lists for $80.

Thanks
Darren
