Hey guys... I've been running the Comp 23-630-5 cam for years with great results. But since I'm putting a new motor together and my current cam is not only three bolt but also three piece I was looking at other grinds. I'm looking at the Comp 23-634-5. Anyone have any experience with this grind? Motor specs: 499" low deck CNC295 Indy SR's flow 355 Indy intake AED 1000cfm 4150 2" tube headers Molnar 4.15 2.200 .990 crank Molnar 6.76 rods JE pistons .-6 flat tops 4.56 gear 32" tire Car weighs 2330# race weight shift at 6500 traps 7100 http://www.summitracing.com///parts/cca-23-630-5http://www.summitracing.com/parts/cca-23-634-5

I wouldn't hesitate a minute to use the new cam I would install it so it was in at 105 to 107 intake lobe center and then find out what RPM the motor likes to be shifted at The first cam may have been bigger than you needed

Should be around that. Maybe a bit higher. I called Comp and they like the cam I have. But when I run it in their calculator the other one makes more power???
