I know a few vendors who make billet valve covers for Chevy and Ford engines but I haven't seen anyone make them for Mopar engines. They are expensive to make, probably cost $650 a set retail. We use them on Chevy dry sump circle track engines since they hold vacuum. Not too many Mopar circle track engines around these days but maybe high end "pro street" type guys might want them?

Thanks. I designed them with a 1/2 thick rail so they will seal up nice and tight. I put a #12 AN o-ring fitting on one side for the vacuum regulator but left the other side solid to eliminate leaks.

I don't have any info on the Predator heads so I wouldn't have any way to design a set of valve covers for them. Indy should have the CNC data on the heads so they should be able to design a set of valve covers without much work. If I had the CAD file for the valve cover rail then it only takes an hour or so to design the cover.

Not to hijack this thread but there are billet W8 and B1 covers coming within the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more info.

I could do the project but it would probably be a lot cheaper if you worked with someone like Ultra Pro who has better equipment than me. http://www.ultrapromachining.net

Ultra Pro can build put a valve spring oiler system into the rail of the valve cover and do some other tricks like that which I'm not set up to do.

Do they have clearance on the pushrod side for T&D or Jesel rockers?

I don't know about T&D but these covers clear the Jesel rocker arms on my Indy EZ heads.

Maybe machine for rocker arm oil spray inside the top of the valve cover?

First off, very nice valve covers! But I have to ask cause my knowledge is lacking in this area, what's the difference between your $650 units and other very similar billet ones going for $250? Is it because its the initial run and will get cheaper the more you make? The 1/2" rail? Thanks.

It is possible to build in valve spring oilers. The shop that built these for me wasn't set up to do that but there are other shops with bigger equipment who can do the oilers.

There aren't any "very similar" billet covers available for $250. If there were I would've bought them rather than have these built.
