I know for hard line to calipers are street legal and dot approved but what about the full system all flexible stainless steel hose? Any benefit over a hard line? Thinking of doing a full kit on my street strip 67 dart.

Nope. Hose should be kept to the minimum required. Hose actually swells a bit when pressurized. An entire system dome with hose would result in a mushy pedal. Also, the plumbing should be done in 3/16" tubing and -3 hardware and hose IMO.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

With braided hose all the way you WILL have a spongey
pedal.. thats fact.. run as much steel line as possible
EDIT
I use 3/16 steel on my junk

For years we ran a all -4 hose for the brakes and it was okay. Changed it to mostly steel with a little -3 and much better pedal feel, that would be the way to go.

Good Luck,
Bill

Right now its just -3an hose for a small bit off the wilwood fronts, and hard line on the diff. Was just wondering about from proportioning valve to the flex lines. Will be getting some tubing and bending the hard lines myself. Thanks for all the inputime, first time doing all the brake lines, usually just used the factorules set up.

If this is a race type car with big rear tires and
skinny fronts I would pull the prop valve off.. being
that prop valve was set up for equal size tires all
the way around and for the weight bias of a stock car..
a adjustable prop might be needed

It's just been mini tubed, was thinking of getting a wilwood adjustable one anyways, and plumbing it right off the master then to the rest of the system.
