When you do your chute mount, have it so the whole thing is removeable.. one bolt and slid it out(grade 8 bolt).. it should be on the CG of the car so it doesnt pull the back of the car up or down

Dragula...it's on 295-65 M/T drag radials, same as I've run for years. I took the 275-60 M/T pros off b/c I thought they looked too small on the car. Just didn't look right to me. It sucks though b/c a lot of the street car races around here allow no bigger than a 28" tall tire...so now I'm not legal. Oh well.
Thanks again yall.

Man that is so freakin awesome Chip! Congrats! As fast as you're going I'm glad you're gonna spend some dough on safety equipment.

Shot of the refurbished Darlington Dragway. Track was crowded, so I loaded it up and came home. Real nice, Chip. Congrat's man. Uh... I don't see anybody. How do we know it really went that fast?

ProSport...thanks! I don't mind the chute...always wanted a street car w/ a chute on the back of it, lol. The diaper is gonna be a PITA though.
sgcuda...I got there early b/c they were expecting a big crowd. There were cars backed up down both sides of 151 waiting to get in from 7:00-9:00. Haven't seen a crowd out there like that in a long time! It's a whole different track than it was the last time you saw it.
HemiRick...yessir, I remember meeting you! It was the Pump Gas Drags, not Dragweek.

Good runs Chip. You are going to have to work on the frontend rise. Don't know what you have going on, but it may be as simple as tightening the front and rear shocks, or you may have to put some weight on the nose. And while many think it's the opposite, sometimes getting after the car harder and quicker will keep the front down.
Depending on how your cars leaves, the delay on the nitrous could be when the car has "settled" a bit and the nitrous hit "bounces" the front back in the air a little. If it leaves wheels up, carries it there and then the nitrous pushes it further up, probably going to take nose weight to fix it or figure out how to keep the fronts on the ground period, or at least closer to ground.
Ours rarely gets higher than this unless I miss the setup

Thanks yall!
cudarex...I'm using C12 when spraying it.
Monte...It launches wheels up on motor (see pic below), then gets higher when the nitrous comes in. I started at .3 delay and then went to .2 delay w/ no other changes. It def. got higher bringing it in quicker, but I think I may be able to keep it down by tightening the front shocks. That's what I did after my first big wheelstand w/ the .3 delay, along w/ removing an inch of travel. I'll just have to try it and see. I am footbraking, so the delay on the nitrous after the WOT switch engages may be a bit lazy.
The pic below was my first pass.
I have a video of my 2nd pass up on my facebook page BTW.

racerx...somewhere around 225 I guess? A pair of 65 jets in an old NOS Doublecross plate. Supposed to be 250 according to most jet charts, but Monte says it's less. Front shocks are D/A Vikings.
Monte_Smith...I think it has around 4.5" now. It used to have an inch more, but I shortened it up. I was thinking I'd tighten up the shocks first and see how the car reacts and then take travel away if that doesn't do enough?
WHITEDART...Thank you sir!
