Does anyone make a pistol grip style shifter for a 68 roadrunner?

You just use the one used in a 70 RR assuming you have a hurst shift box. Early 68s had Inland shifters

The '68 Hurst mechanism has a longer throw, pistol grip handle in a '68-'69 will usually put your knuckles close to or into the dash. Even with the '70 mechanism it's close.

You might check with Brewer's or Passon and see what's available in different lever heights/shapes. Brewer's recently bought out Gunslinger and is supposedly tooling up different pistol grip levers, though Gunslinger's were for auto trans shifters.
As stated, the '70s had long levers with a lot of travel.
