Just use the correct factory bolts and save yourself a bunch of trouble. They aren't that expensive from the dealer.

I would install one and check to see if they clear the back of the rear main cap and if they stick out the back, towards the front of the motor, of the crankshaft flange. If they stick out a thread or two your golden up twocentsI can't remember exactly how thick the flywheel is where it bolts up to the crankshaft flange but I'm thinking .400 to maybe .750 depending on which year and application confusedYou need at least the diameter of the bolt(.437) to be engage in the cranksahft flange, more thread engagement is better thumbsscopeIf they are a little bit to long and to close the rear main cap grind the ends down to shorten them thumbs

Cab, magnum engines have a one piece rear main seal, meaning there really isn't a crank flange like the motors us old guys run.

Rear crank flange/hub is pretty thick. I don't think a 1" bolt will hurt anything. Since the dealer has four in stock, grab one, measure it and order a set of APR flywheel bolts to those dimensions.

The aftermarket bolts that I've used were 7/16"-20 x 1"

FWIW I just got a set from Mancini. 7/16"x1". Its a BB but same type 130 tooth flywheel. They were not too long with or without lock washer though I did use a lock washer.

The chevy Bolts are 1" , Chrysler bolts are a little shorter, maybe 7/8" ? Make sure they don't stick to far out the back.

What type of lock washer , factory might have used a thin star washer but not a standard split lock. If a split hopefully when the clutch has significant wear the clutch disc doesn't start hitting the bolt heads.
