Trying to swap out valve springs on edelbrock heads, engine in car. The compressor I have won't work with the dual valve springs, any ideas on one that will?

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Looks like it bolts into the shaft mounting holes and uses a cheater handle with a fork? Wonder if I could build one......damn budget. Thanks for the link!

Yes just weld a pair of ears to a plumbing "T" with a pipe nipple screwed into it for a handle. Use a short/stout dummy horizontle shaft & bolt it to 2 saddles at a time. EDIT A small telescoping magnet works VG for snatching the keepers

If you build your own, just make sure the handle doesn't hit the master cylinder on #7 when you compress the springs.
