If it's on the fender tag, it was not "added". Codes on the fender tag mean that the car left the factory that way...

I was looking through the color and trim selector book and apparently the Canopy roof style (V4 codes) was only available on Satellite/Road Runners (2 door models) in black and white colors only. Also, probably stating the obvious, but roof and body stripes are not available with vinyl tops.
