I believe they are a #10 x 24 tpi. that's what mine look like. Though I'm sure I'll be corrected if wrong. Thanks!! The factory nuts as already mentioned are stamped steel. The thread is indeed 10-24. I know of no reason not to use regular zinc or stainless steel nuts with a washer.
