A bunch of people want to know how I made my own jig so here goes.
To build on you need...
1 LA head of any kind. 1 Piece flat stock 1/4 by 2" about 14 inches long. 1 tube with the same inside diamater as the drill bit you are going to use.
For tools you need...
1 welder 1 drill 2 (or more) welding clamps 1 drill bit 1 tap and driver.
I took a 2 inch wide 1/4 inch thick steel plate about 14 inches long and bent it at a sharp 90 degree angle about 4 inches from the end and with welding clamps clamped it to the chamber side of the head and marked a place for the LA bolt hole to go through and drilled it a little bigger than the bolt hole.
Second piece was a thick walled pipe about two inches long and it was a tight fit on the drill bit to keep it steady. Depending on what bolt hole size you use you need a different hole size in the pipe.
1st step in assembly was to put a bolt about 3 inches long through it all on an LA head to hold it at the proper angle. 2nd weld the pipe to the flat piece. Then you have a jig.
To drill the magnum head you clamp it on to the mag head on the chamber side of the head again with welding clamps and line it up with the mag bolt holes as they are all in the same places but different angles. I also use a clamp on the intake side to keep it from jumping around and screwing the job up.

Here is a pic against the head, I will see if I can find my clamps and get a shot of it clamped on there. Also when you do the two end holes you need a spacer between the deck side of the head and the jig to make the holes lower like on an LA. I will measure my spacer I made so you can see how thick of one you need. One clamp goes by my finger tips and the other at the other end down past my

I use two 19/64 drill bits for spacers or about .300 in"
I have always used a "3/8th NC16" tap and a set of LA intake bolts. I think the drill bit is a 5/16
Tip, when you first start drillin into the magnum head there is a bit of a bur that can catch the drill bit so start slow and easy till you get past that.
