Anyone ever use one here? Seems to be good rating on it.

My question is can you backup and turn in a 90 degree angle with it or is it something that has to be un-hook?

Looks similar to the one I got years ago from Reese hitch. Still have it and I have no problems turning at 90 degrees.

I use a 14K WD hitch and have never had issues. I used to use a Reese type 10K like the knock-off HF one but had to go bigger for my heavier trailer. I was wondering about the new "silent" hitch, anyone ever use one of these? shruggy

Check on ebay for a Reese hitch. I got mine for about the same money and it is was much nicer then the HF one. I got it brand new in the box.

Is that backing it up? Cause that's what it will take to put my car/trailer into my garage. wave

Guess that depends on how close that 90 has to be made. For the truck to be able to push a trailer back at a full on 90 degrees is probably nearly impossible off a bumper hitch. You might get the trailer at 90 degrees to the truck, but the front end of the truck won't come around quick enough to push the trailer back in to maintain the 90. I foresee a lot of bent stuff, often.

If you really need to do a 90 right outside your garage, you probably need a 5th wheel or a goose neck trailer, they turn sharper then a bumper hitch will. Gene

I would prefer a hitch with steel made in the USA, like Reese or Curt. I bought a Curt from www.thehitchstore.com
