I've seen guys melt old pistons down to fill the crossover.
It may be ugly, but it sure is slow.
Girls comb their hair in rear view mirrors and the boys try to look so hard....

If you did it with the head at ambient, it will probably shrink and just clink around in there.
I gave up filling those along time ago. Found some flow on the bench but never found it on the dyno.

I heated the cylinder head up before I filled the crossover. This was actually a practice run for job that I am working on. I am building a 1969 455 Olds engine with a set of C castings. The Olds heads have huge exhaust crossover passages. Filling then helps quite a bit.
