2000 Sebring 2.5 I replaced all the timing stuff and a few bent valves. Went to start it after I got it back together, now I have no fire. I have fuel and 12 volts to the coil when cranking but there is no spark what so ever. Any help would be awesome thanks!
Oh and I put a new distributor in it.

Didi you put in the dist after or before the no spark? I have seen the factory ones go bad and the aftermarket ones be bad on install.

Might help if you ran the codes and told us what the computer thinks is wrong.
They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule. Don't be the exception.

Sounds like a defective new dist, but the dist is only telling the computer the dist is turning, the computer signals the coil to send out the spark. You should be able to check to see if the computer is receiving input from the dist, a broken wire between the computer and the dist will cause the dysfunction. The computer receives information from several different sensors. A bad ground can interfere with the computer getting the correct signal from any of those sensors and the computer won't send out the spark. The computer monitors the oil pressure, the throttle position, the crank position the cam position and something evading my memory right now. It controls the fuel pump, the timing, the spark and how long the injectors are open.
I would start by making sure all the connections are making connections. Be sure the dist is turning. Be sure the timing gears are correctly lined up, then find out which wire on the computer receives input from the dist and see if its receiving the input. Its not unusual for the wires in the engine harness to break near the connections. If nothing shows up after that come back and we will move on. Gene

sounds like the timing belt broke and wiped out the valves? you pulled the heads and replaced the valves? then no spark? how about the crank sensor , did it survive? do you have injector pulse? did you plug everything back in? that's a huge job tearing down that engine go back over everything. It was running when it broke the belt so....
