For the 71-72 Satellite, Road Runner, GTX, and Chargers with the Strato Vent option. I have 3 of these valves, and they are all leaking coolant where the shaft comes through the valve. Is there anywhere I can send them to get rebuilt?

Call Jim Tucker. Don't email. Call.

Ask him if he can rebuild yours. Some he says can't be rebuilt, but he does seem to have an inventory of originals for those, if you ask. He's not a good salesman - you have to pump him for information.

I bought a valve from him 6 years ago and was very pleased.

Go on ebay and buy one for a Camaro and un-rivet or un-bolt (I forget which) the bracket. Then rivet to your old bracket.

I showed that to someone on a hemi sunroof strato vent car and works and looks well.

IIRC, it was around $20.

I think you could just bolt your bracket to this one.

You might be able to make this one function with your bracket. But it will look different.

If you search harder I think you could fine a brass valve section with right lever arm for under $50.

Here's a new donor for $50

You drill out the spot welds on the diaphragm very carefully and rivet on your old bracket to it.

Looks to me like the only part he needs is the valve, and that part unbolts, if the one he has with the rubber hose on it diaphragm still works that would be the one to repair?

running up my post count some more .

Thanks for the info! I called and talked to Jim, very knowledgeable guy! He said he can't rebuild this style of valve, and unfortunately he didn't have any NOS valves like it at the moment.

Thanks! Some of those valves you posted links to look almost identical to mine. The only issue is that those appear to be for 5/8" hose, and the originals are for 1/2". If I don't find anything else, I will get one of those and put it in the other hose, most people would probably never notice it wasn't 100% correct.

Jack in New Jersey might have one. I can't remember how to get ahold of him but he's been selling Mopar parts for years and years.
