I notice that most of the blow thru carbs on ebag are in the 650 to 850 range. Not many 950 or 1050 carbs advertised. When buying mine should I buy the size I'm using on my N/A engine or is it appropriate to go slightly swmaller or slightly larger. I'm currently using a 950 on a 413 smallblock. Thanks, Max

I actually had my holley 900 on my NA motor converted when I went to a blow through motor. GIANT annular boosters were installed, so I am sure it doesn't flow 900 cfm ( if it ever did ) any more. According to what I have heard, you can go to a smaller cfm carb in a blow through application, but I saved myself about $400 having mine converted. I will say I have some rich / lean issues that I am still trying to sort out, but not equating it to carb size right now.

I ran a 950 on my 416 small block, that is what Steve Morris recommended.
